Kidville’s Festival of Thanks & Giving!

Moms and TReeAs the autumn leaves fall and the winter chill begins to fill the air we are reminded to give thanks. This year Kidville hosted a Festival of Thanks & Giving for current members at our flagship store. The festival was a jam-packed family fun day with art projects, concerts, story times and a great venue to gather together. This was our way of saying, “Thanks for choosing Kidville!” We also collected food donations to benefit New York Common Pantry and to give back to our local community.

Come on in

Members lined the block with bags filled with donations. Children of all ages helped to carry food and water to our donation center.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our members! We collected more food than we could have imagined in 90 minutes! New York Common Pantry will be using this collection to feed families in need in our area.

Kidville families then ventured to one of our interactive art tables. Each child decorated a leaf and then voiced what he or she was most thankful for this year.

Here are a few of our favorite quotes:

“Luca is thankful for all the kisses!”

“Sophie is thankful for her baby sister!”

“Maddy is thankful for her Barbie Doll House!”

Dad Crown

Every member decorated their own fall crown with stickers and gems. We also opened up a table with one of our favorite activities, Magna-Tiles! However, the most heartwarming part of this magical event was bringing smiles to the faces Kidville families. We love having your children in Kidville and wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
