Camp Kidville: Activities to Try At Home!

Ready for WARM WEATHER?

In the spirit of sunshine and sand, we have put together a bunch of fun Camp Kidville activities to do at home! After all, Camp IS just around the corner!

BEACH DIGGING BIN!

This is a super way fun to bring the beach to YOU! All you do is put all the items in a bin together and invite your kiddos to come explore!

Materials:

  • Plastic Tub (under the bed storage containers work well!)
  • Sand or Aquarium Gravel
  • Plastic Sea Creatures
  • Add in plastic sea plants!

Want to go the extra mile?
-Get in your bathing suits, sunnies and lay out beach towels!
-Read a fun beach themed or sea life story while laying out on your towels!
-Move the digging bin to the bathtub! (Maybe no gravel!)

SAND & SLIME FISH IN A BAG

Does your little beach bum love tactile play? Slime is ALWAYS a hit around Kidville so we thought we’d share this beachy take on slime fun!

Beach Ball Bubble Dance Party!

This one is EASY! Put on our Summer Sun: Warm Weather Vibesplaylist, blow up a few beach balls, blow some bubbles and get dancing!

For older kids, it’s fun to see how long they can keep the ball up in the air! Non-helium inflated balloons also work well (and don’t knock as much stuff over!)
